Job role - Head of Programmes at CASA
Location: Brixton House, London
Contract Type: Part-time fixed-term contract for 24 months
Salary: £32,000 pro rata to £19,200 for 3 days a week
Pension: 3% employer contribution from first day of work
Holiday: Standard 28 days inclusive of bank holidays pro rata to 17 days
Probation: 3 months

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Programmes to oversee the artistic programme of CASA as we enter an exciting new phase in the life our of organisation. Working closely with CASA’s Artistic Director and the Brixton House team, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing a diverse range of artistic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Artistic Leadership: Collaborate with the Artistic Director to develop and curate a compelling artistic programme of Latinx multidisciplinary art.
Program Development: Co-design and implement the CASA Lab in February, a digital and live programme featuring residencies, commissions, and works-in-progress by interdisciplinary Latinx artists. (ACE funding dependent)
Event Coordination: Oversee the planning and execution of programmes throughout the year.
Community Engagement: Foster relationships with local artists, community organisations, and audiences to enhance participation and inclusivity in the festival.
Partnership Management: Work in partnership with Brixton House and other stakeholders to maximise the impact of the organisation and secure additional funding opportunities.
Budget Management: Manage the programme budget, ensuring financial sustainability and adherence to funding guidelines.
Evaluation and Reporting: Develop metrics for evaluating the success of the programme and prepare reports for stakeholders, including Arts Council funding bodies.
Marketing - manage basic annual social media (supported for live events)
Essential requirements:
Proven experience in arts programming, project management, or a related field
Strong commitment to artists and their development
Strong understanding of Latinx arts and culture
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building relationships with artists, audiences, and partners.
Experience in fundraising and grant writing.
Fluent in spanish
